An Agape Meal is a shared meal rooted in the early Church that celebrates unity and mutual care. Today, known as Family and Friends Dinner, Beloved Community continues this tradition each year on its founding anniversary, Resurrection Day (Easter). The African American Seder, developed by Pastor Toby, parallels the biblical Exodus with the journey from chattel slavery to freedom.

Beloved Community celebrates the sacred seasons and holy days of the Christian liturgical calendar, including Advent, Lent, as well as Communion Sunday, observed on the first Sunday of each month. We invite you to join us as we nourish your body, mind, and spirit.

Wednesdays at 7:00 PM, join us for a 30 to 45-minute Bible study as we take a deeper look at Sunday’s scripture or explore engaging life lessons or the Bible’s structure, history, and historical context, to better understand and apply God’s Word in our daily lives.

The Bible is not just one book but a library of sacred writings, and each time you read it, you discover wisdom, guidance, and inspiration for your daily life.

Each weekday evening at 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday, we gather online for 10 to 15 minutes of prayer. Join us as we pray for one another, our communities, and ourselves. It is more than a time to share concerns. We also celebrate joys, answered prayers, and praise reports. Every prayer gathering is a weekday hallelujah moment, filled with faith, encouragement, gratitude, laughter and hope.
